The Fades – Episode 5

The most recent episode of The Fades seems to be where all hell began to break loose. Starting with a school being setup as a headquarters to deal with the recent increase of missing persons. But the volunteers that work at the school aren’t what they seem to be.

Everyone seems to be wondering about the miraculous recovery of Paul from a vegetative near-death state. That is except Paul and Mac. This episode also featured one of the funniest style mashups on the Fades so far: matching pyjamas.

Speaking of fashion what is with Paul’s lilac trousers? Or some of Mac’s Cosby Show inspired jumpers?

Episode 5 is also notable for things not being what they seem to be, most notably, Neil’s loss of faith in Paul and then his taking of Mac as a hostage to get Paul to do what he is fated to do. There is also the return of Sarah, the angelic killed in the pilot, to a physical reality and where exactly she stands with the Angelics and the Fades.

Episode 5 also featured the death of Natalia the fade who has been taunting Paul and Neil from the start. I wonder if we will see her (Jenn Murray) in the future.

The climax of last night’s episode had most definitely to be Paul’s realization of his “spaghetti sauce” vision and ability to thwart Paulus the Fade from killing all that Paul loved, or did he?

Definitely cannot wait to see what happens to come next. Im just sad that the series is nearly done for now.
